Symptom
The shutter sound is not heard when
you record a photo image.
There is a time difference between
the point where you press Recording
Start/Stop button and the point where
the recorded movie starts/stops.
The aspect ratio (16:9/4:3) of a movie
cannot be changed.

Memory card functions are not
operable.
Image cannot be moved or deleted.
You cannot format the memory card.
The data file name is not indicated

Explanation/Solution
• Set "Shutter Sound" to "On."
• On your camcorder, there may be a slight time delay between the point when
you press Recording Start/Stop button and the actual point where the
recorded movie starts/stops. This is not an error.
• The aspect ratio of a movie at 16:9 cannot be changed to 4:3.

• Insert a memory card into your camcorder properly. page 32
• If you use a memory card formatted on a computer, format it again directly on
your camcorder. page 71
• Release the lock on the write-protect tab of the memory card (SDHC/SD
memory card), if any. page 33
• You cannot delete images protected by another device.
Release the protection of the image on the device.

• The memory card is not supported on your camcorder or card has some
problems.
• The file may be corrupted.
