2. Select Edit menu > "Extended Function".
The Extended Function window appears on the
display.

Emergency Mode
The Man-down Tilt Switch can be installed in the
transceiver. This section describes how to install the
Man-down Tilt Switch in the TK-5120.

Remove the battery pack to install the Man-down Tilt
Switch.

Configuring and Modifying the
Man-down Tilt Switch
1. Prepare the Man-down Tilt Switch.
2. Cut cables (blue and black) to approximately
2" (50 mm).

3. Solder the cables (black and blue) to the position
shown in the figure.
3. Install the heat shrink tube (black, approx. 10 mm) on
the blue cable side in order to hide the soldered part.
