Configuring and Modifying the
TX-RX PCB
The transceiver emits a Sidetone at fixed level regardless
of the Volume control position when the QE-2 board is
installed. The volume of Sidetone emitted from the board
can be adjusted by modifying the TX-RX PCB (X57-6820-
10) in the transceiver.
Be careful not to damage the seal between the transceiver
and its cover. Damaging the seal may degrade the
waterproof performance of the transceiver.
1. Remove the 4 screws that hold the cover in place.
2. Insert tweezers into the cover screw hole and pull
off the cover.
