Prestige P645 ADSL Internet Access Router
FIELD
System Name Choose a descriptive name for identification purposes. This name can be
up to 30 alphanumeric characters long. Spaces are not allowed, but
dashes "-" and underscores "_" are accepted.
Location (optional) Enter the geographic location (up to 31 characters) of your Prestige.
Contact Person's Enter the name (up to 30 characters) of the person in charge of this
Name (optional) Prestige.
Protocols: Press the [SPACE-BAR] to select Yes or No to turn the individual routing
protocols on or off.
Route IP Set this field to Yes to enable IP routing. You must enable IP routing for
Internet access.
Set this field to Yes to enable IPX routing.
Route IPX
Bridge Turn on/off bridging for protocols not supported (e.g., SNA) or not turned
on in the previous Route fields.

This section describes how to configure the Ethernet using Menu 3 – Ethernet Setup. From the main
menu, enter 3 to open menu 3.
