DESCRIPTION

The QUERCUS servo drive is part of an "electrical Power Drive System",
or QC-PDS, a term defined by IEC 61800-5-1.
The QC-PDS consists of the following sub-systems:
 The power supply
 The servo drive
 The electrical motors and their feedback devices (encoders)
It has been designed to be used in industrial environments and is used in
conjunction with the QUERCUS CNC to control machine movements.
Note that all the elements shown in the following general diagrams will be
explained in full detail in the following chapters.
