Before You Start
Hardware required
1 InfinityLab Companion Docking Station (G7109A, Item 5), including Cable
Set (Items 2, 6, and 7)
2 Infinity II Solvent Cabinet (sold separately, not shown)
3 Optional: InfinityLab Companion Touchscreen Tablet (G7109A#250, Item 3)
4 Optional: InfinityLab Companion Safety Case for (G7109A#252, Item 4)
Additionally, to enable the LC instrument to work with the InfinityLab
Companion Touchscreen Tablet, the following item is required:
• InfinityLab LC Companion USB-Dongle (G7108AA, Item 1), including USB
Adapter Cable
Preparations
• Make sure that the InfinityLab LC Companion USB-Dongle (G7108AA, sold
separately) is installed and activated for use on at least one of the modules
of your LC instrument (see Agilent InfinityLab Companion Software
Installation Technical Note D0000195).
• Make sure that the instrument on top of which the InfinityLab Docking
Station will be installed, is turned off, before starting the installation.
