Clock; Fuel Injection System Indicator "Fi" - Suzuki GSF1250 Owner's Manual

CLOCK@
The clock has a 12-hour display. Fol-
low the procedure below to adjust the
clock.
1. Push the "SEL'.' button @ and
"ADJ" button
®,
simultaneously
until the minute display blinks.
2. Adjust the minute display by push-
ing the "ADJ" button
®·
NOTE: When the "ADJ" button
®
is
held in, the display advances continu-
ously.
3. Push the "SEL'.' button @ to high-
light the hour display. .
4. Adjust the hour display by pushing
the "ADJ" button
®·
5. Push the "SEL' . ' button @ to return
to the clock mode.
FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM
INDICATOR "Fl" @

If the fuel injection system fails, the
red indicator light @ comes on and
the display ~ indicates "Fl" in the
odometer/trip meter display area in
the following two modes;
A. The display ~ indicates "Fl" inter-
mittently, and the red indicator
light @ comes on and remains lit.
B. The display ~ indicates "Fl" con-
tinuously and the red indicator
light @ blinks.
The engine may continu~ to run !n
mode A, but the engine will not run 1n
mode B.

CAUTION
Riding the motorcycle with t~e
display indicating a problem w!th
the fuel injection system and with
the indicator light lit can damage
the engine.
Whenever the red indicator light is
lit and the display indicates "Fl",
have your authorized Suzuki
dealer or a qualified mechanic
inspect the fuel injection system
as soon as possible.
NOTE:
• If
the display indicates "Fl" inter-
mittently and the red indicator light
comes on and remains lit, keep
th
ngine running and bring your
m t rcycle to an authorized
uzukl d a/er.
If
the engine stalls,
try rest rting the engine after turn-
ing the ignition switch off and on.
• If
the display indicates "Fl" contin-
uously and the red indicator light
blinks, the engine will not start.

When the display ~ indicates
"CHEC", check following item~;
• Make sure that the engine stop
switch is in the
"0"
position.
• Make sure that the transmission is
in neutral or the side stand is fully
up.
If the display still indicates "CHEC"
after checking the above items,
inspect the ignition fuse and the con-
nection of the lead wire couplers.
