If you are connecting your 5294 to a modem/DCE, make sure
the modem/DCe is powered on (plugged in and turned on).

Set the 5294 Power switch to On.
The Power indicator comes on immediately, followed by
the Ready and Workstation Active indicators.
Do the indicators come on?

If the Power, Ready, and Workstation Active
indicators are not on, make sure all the cable
connections are secure. If the indicators are
