To perform status coderecall/component
test,thecontrol mustbeinidle mode (nocallsfor heat,
cool,or fanwiththe blower off)displaying a "Heartbeat". Status coderecall/component
testcanbe
performed in oneoftwoways:
1. Briefly (2.3seconds) c onnect theTEST/IWlN terminal tothe "C"thermostat terminal withajumper wire.
(NOTE:Ifconnected f or more than5-6seconds s tatuscode10willflashbutit willnotoverwrite t he previous
statuscode).
OR
2. Briefly remove thenreconnect onelimit w ire(main or rollout s witch).
(NOTE:If limitwireis disconnected for more than5-6seconds statuscode 4 willflashandthe previous s tatus code
willbelost).Afterthestatus codeisflashed 4 times thecomponent testwillbegin(see"Component TestSequence"
below). If noprevious s tatuscodeis available t hecontrol w illnotflasha statuscodeandwillimmediately startthe
component test. S tored statuscodes areerased automatically after86hours.
EACHOFTHE FOLLOWING STATUS CODESISA SINGLE ORTWODIGITNUMBER WiTH
THEFIRSTNUMBER DETERMINED BYTHENUMBEROFSHORTFLASHES ANDTHE
SECOND NUMBERAFTERTHEPLUS(+) SIGNiSTHENUMBEROFLONGFLASHES.

PRESSURE SWITCH DIDNOTOPEN Check for:- Obstructed p ressure tubing.-Pressure s witchstuckclosed.

PRESSURE SWITCH DIDNOTCLOSE ORREOPENED - If LPSopenlonger t han6 minutes, i nducer s huts
offfor 18minutes beforeretry.If HPBremains open for 72seconds aftergasvalvecloses(afterthree
succesive tdals), t henfurnacecontrol will lockout f or3-1/2hoursbeforeretry.
- Excessive wind
- Proper v entsizing
- Defective inducer m otor
- Lowinducer v oltage (220VAC)
- Defective p ressure switch
- Inadequate combusfien a irsupply
- Disconnected or obstructed p ressure t ubing
- Lowinletgaspressure (if LGPSused)
- Restricted vent
- Condensate drainage restricted or blocked
If it opens during blower o n-delay period, b lower w illcomeonfor theselected blower o ff-delay.

LIMITCIRCUIT FAULT-Indicates a limitorflamerolloutis open.
Blower will runfor 5 minutes or until o penswitchremakes w hichever is longer.Ifopenlonger t han
3-1/2minutes, c odechanges t o lockout # 7. If open lessthan3-1/2minutes status code#4continues t oflash
untilblower s hutsoff.
Flame rollout s witch requires manual r eset.Check for:
- Restricted v ent
- Properventsizing
- Looseblower w heel
- Excessive w ind - Dirty filter or restricted ductsystem
- Defective blower m otor or capacitor - Defective s witchor connections
- Inadequate combusfion a irsupply (Flame Roll-out S witch open)

ABNORMAL FLAME-PROVING
SIGNAL-Flame is proved whilegasvalveis de-energized. Inducer w ill
rununtilfaultis cleared. Check for:
- Leakygasvalve
- Stuck-open g asvalve

IGNITION PROVING FAILURE - Control w illtrythreemoretimesbeforelockout # 6+1occurs.
Ifflamesignallostduringblower o n-delay period, blowerwillcomeonforthe selected blower o ff-delay.
Check for:- Flamesensor m ustnotbegrounded - Oxidebuildup onflamesensor(clean withfinesteelwool
- Properflamesensemicroamps ( .5microamps D .C.min.,4.0 - 6.0 nominal).
- Gasvalvedefective or gasvalveturnedoff
- Manual v alveshut-off - Lowinletgaspressure
- Defective HotSurface Ignitor-Control g round continuity - Inadequate flamecarryover or roughignition
- Green/Yellow w ireMUST beconnected tofurnacesheet m etal.

COMPONENT
TEST
Gas valve and humidifierwill not be turnedon. Componentswill be tested insequence as follows:
Inducermotor will run for entire componenttest, and the following componentsare ON for
12-18 seconds each individually; hot surface igniter, FAN(if equipped),
HEATspeed, COOL speed.
