DESCRIPTION
An AC Calibrator is used to check the HP 4934A Notch Filter rejection.
EQUIPMENT
AC Calibrator : DATRON 4707A
PROCEDURE
CAUTION Ensure that the AC Calibrator OUTPUT is switched off or set to the minimum level
_ before proceeding with the following procedure.
1 Connect the AC Calibrator output to the HP 4934A RCV port.

Set the HP 4934A as follows:
Measurement : NOISE W TONE
Filter : C-MSG
Receiver (RCV) Impedance : 600Q
Display Mode : RCV

Set the AC Calibrator output level to 0.7746 V at 995 Hz then switch on the
OUTPUT.

Check the reading on the HP 4934A is less than 40 dBm.
5 Set the AC Calibrator to each of the frequencies in the following table and check
the HP 4934A noise readings.
