(1) Request register (07FFH: 1 word): S controller → → → → DN311
This register is used to notify the DN311 of a request, if issued by the S controller.
After writing "1" in the request flag register, the S controller ladder program writes "1"
in this register.
0: No notice.
1: Notice
After reading a request in the request area, the DN311 sets this register to "0."
(2) Request flag register (07F3H: 1 word): S controller → → → → DN311
This register is used to issue a request from the S controller to the DN311.
writing request data in the request area, the S controller ladder
program writes "1" in this register.
0: No request.
1: A request is issued from the S controller to the DN311
Other than 0 and 1: Reserved
The DN311 sets this register to "0" after reading a request in the request area.
(3) Acknowledgement flag register (07F2H: 1 word): DN311 → → → → S controller
This register is used to notify the S controller of the DN311's response after the S
controller issues a request to the DN311.
The S controller ladder program checks this register for "1" to be set after a request is
issued to the DN311. When the "1" is set in the register, the ladder program reads
DN311 response data from the acknowledgement area, then writes "0" in the register.
0: No response.
1: DN311 has responded to the S controller.
Other than 0 and 1: Reserved
(4) Request area (0728H to 07EFH: 200 words): S controller → → → → DN311
This area is to write request data in when the S controller issues a request to the
DN311.
Request data is written in the area beginning with 0728H.
There are six types of requests that the S controller issues to the DN311 as follows:
(a) Reset request
(b) Parameter setting request (local node)
(c) Parameter setting request (slave device)
(d) DN311 operation mode control request
(e) RAS information read request
(f) Time setting request
The above six requests vary in data composition as described in 4.3 Requests to the
DN311.
(5) Acknowledgement area (0660H to 0727H: 200 words): DN311 → S controller
When the S controller issues a request to the DN311, the DN311 sets response data
to the S controller in this acknowledgment area. Response data is set
beginning with 0660H. The request data composition is described in 4.3 Requests to
the DN311.
