• Be sure to turn power off before connecting or disconnecting the module, terminal block, or
cables. Failing to do so can cause electric shock, malfunction, and/or failure.
• Exercise due care in measuring the voltages at the module connectors during inspection.
This is important to avoid the possibility of electric shock
• Before replacing the module, be sure to stop the network's operation and turn off S controller
power and network power. Failure to observe this can cause electric shock, malfunction,
and/or failure.
• Never disassemble or modify the module hardware, nor modify the software.
Failure to observe this can cause a fire, electric shock, and/or injuries due to failure and mal-
function.
• Daily check, periodic check, and cleaning are essential to keeping the system in normal con-
dition.
• If your DN311 does not operate normally, identify the cause of the trouble, referring to Chap-
ter 7 Troubleshooting.
If it should fail, contact your nearest TOSHIBA office, or dealer, or service shop, and send
your DN311 back for repairs.
Operation and safety of your DN311 cannot be guaranteed unless it is repaired by TOSHIBA
or a TOSHIBA authorized service shop.
• Don't use your DN311 if it produces smoke or foul odor or is in abnormal condition. Failure to
do so could cause a fire, electric shock, and/or failure.
If you find it in abnormal condition, turn off all the power supplies immediately and contact
your nearest TOSHIBA office, dealer, or authorized service agency.
Never modify or repair the DN311 yourself. It is very dangerous.
