Dual Element Indicator - Indicates that two heating rings
are active on the designated element.
Element Touchpads - Used to select the element. Infor-
mation such as the heat level, number of rings in use,
etc.is also displayed above the corresponding touchpad.
Function Touchpads - Used in conjunction with element
touchpads and the magnetic dial to set the desired cook-
top function.
Hot Surface Indicator - A letter H appears above the ele-
ment touchpad to indicate that the element and the sur-
rounding area are still hot even though the element is
turned off.
Keep Warm - Use this function to keep hot, cooked food
at serving temperature. See "Food Safety" on page 5 for
guidelines for keeping foods warm safely.

About the Clock
Setting the Clock
Magnetic Dial - Use the magnetic dial in conjunction with
the function touchpads to select the desired settings for
the elements.
Panel Lock - Use to lock the cooktop touchpads. All ele-
ments must be off before locking the panel. Press and hold
the panel lock touchpad for five seconds or until the Panel
Lock Indicator light appears above the touchpad. Repeat
this procedure to turn panel lock off.
Power Off - Press to turn off all elements at the same
time.
Triple Element Indicator - Indicates that three heating
rings are active on the designated element.
You control the operation of the range by using the touch pads and dial on the
backguard and the magnetic dial and touchpad on the cooktop.
The backguard touchpads, in conjunction with the dial on the backguard, are used
to select an oven mode, set the oven temperature, set the time(s) and to set up
your range.
The magnetic dial and the touchpads on the cooktop are used to select the heat
level and the element size.
To use the touchpad, press the center part of the pad with the flat part of your fin-
gertip. A beep will sound to indicate that the selection has been made. Turn the
dial on the backguard to the desired setting and press start.
See the sections on Using the Cooktop, Using the Oven and Using the Warming
Drawer for detailed instructions.
Always set the clock after installation or after a power failure. Once power
returns to the oven, the clock defaults to 12:00 am.
The time of day is displayed in hours and minutes.
The clock time will appear during all oven operations except when the timer is
running.
The oven is preset to a 12 hour clock and indicates AM and PM. To switch to
a 24 hour clock, see "Select Function" section.
If you do not complete the operation of setting the clock, the oven will beep
periodically as a reminder to set the clock time. Press OFF to stop the beep-
ing.
1. CLOCK will be displayed and the hour digits
will flash. Turn knob to select hour and AM or
PM.
2. Press Time. CLOCK will still be displayed
and the minute digits will flash.
3. Turn knob. Set minutes.
4. Press Time and the clock is now set.
