Steps Troubleshooting
1 Make sure that a battery is installed correctly
2 Press the button on the battery
3 Make sure that the safety key is in position 1
Make sure there is a click sound when the ON/OFF button

is pressed
5 Examine the battery connector (579 68 66-01)
Examine the blue cable from 589 75 93-01 through

connector X6, X8, X12 to 589 96 66-01
Examine the black cable from 579 68 64-01 through

connector X9, X11 to 589 96 99-01

Examine the microswitch. Make sure there is a click sound

when the motor brake handle is pressed down
2 Press the far left end of the motor brake handle down
Make sure that the spring is attached correctly in the plastic

housing
4 Make sure that the microswitch is attached correctly
Examine the white cable from 579 68 64-01 through

connector X9 to microswitch
Examine the black cable from 579 68 64-01 through

connector X9 to microswitch

Examine the white connector between the product and the

battery
Examine the pink cable from 579 68 66-01 through
2
connector X7 to 579 68 64-01
Make sure that the blade is not blocked and that it can
rotate easily. WARNING: Turn the safety key to 0,
3
remove the safety key, remove the battery and wait a
minimum of 5 seconds before you touch the blade!
4 Let the product become cool and try again after 15 minutes
