4. Remove the end cap on the oil drain valve on the
oil drain hose and let the engine oil drain into the
container.
5. When all oil is drained, install the end cap on the oil
drain valve.
6. If the engine has an oil filter, replace the oil filter.

7. Fill the oil slowly through the hole for the dipstick.
Use an oil with viscosity that agrees with the
temperature ranges in the figure. Refer to
data on page 40 .

9. Discard the used engine oil.
To replace the oil filter (TC 114)
WARNING:
you spill engine oil on your body, clean with
soap and water.
1. Drain the engine oil. Refer to
oil on page 33 .
2. Turn the oil filter counterclockwise to remove it.
3. Lightly lubricate the rubber seal on the new oil filter
with new engine oil.
4. Turn the oil filter clockwise by hand until the rubber
seal is in position, then tighten a half turn more.
5. Fill the engine with new engine oil. Refer to
replace the engine oil on page 33 .
6. Start the engine and let it operate at idle speed for 3
minutes.
7. Stop the engine and make sure that there is no oil
leakage from the oil filter.
8. Fill with engine oil to make up for the oil held in the
new oil filter.
