Underbody - Front Splitter
The strakes on the front underbody should be checked regularly for
NOTE
wear and damage. The front skid pads must also be checked regularly
for damage and wear. If the wear is high, the skid pads must be re-
placed.
The brackets on the front underbody to hold the cables and the atta-
NOTE
chment points on the body must be checked regularly for tightness
and damage.
The retaining cables must not be kinked. Defective cables (individual
NOTE
strands broken) must be replaced immediately. The cables are to be
kept taut and the adjusters are to be secured against loosening with
the lock nuts.
The front insertion pins are to be checked for correct seating in the
NOTE
mounting points of the body. The screw connection is to be checked
for tight fit.
The corresponding tightening torques can be found in the detailed
assembly instructions. This is available for download from the Manthey
Racing website.
