Calibration Procedure

The recommended calibration cycle for this product is 1 year. Or, calibrate the Product if it fails any
performance test in the verification procedure.
Before you do the calibration:
1.
Make sure that you have the required equipment. See Table 2.
a. For 1537, make sure the Product battery is good or replace it if necessary.
b. For 1535, remove the batteries and calibration seal of the unit under test (UUT) and reassemble the UUT on
the probe fixture and power up the fixture.
2.
Make sure the USB driver is correctly installed on the PC:
a. For 1537, connect the unit under test (UUT) to PC with the USB cable.
b. For 1535, connect the probe fixture to PC with USB cable.
3.
Use proper serial communication software to send calibration commands, set the baud rate to
9600 bps. Set up the software and make sure a "carriage return" byte and a "line feed" byte are sent
after each command.
4.
Warm up the Calibrator as necessary. Refer to the specifications of the Calibrator.
5.
Let the temperature of the unit under test (UUT) become stable to room temperature.
