Insulation Testers Cleaning Cleaning Periodically wipe the case with a damp cloth and mild 1507 INSULATION TESTER detergent. Do not use abrasives or solvents. Dirt or moisture in the terminals can affect readings. Allow time for drying before using the Tester. Testing the Batteries The Tester continuously monitors battery voltage. -
