IV. Paper size detection
1. Plug the power cord into the power outlet and
turn on the machine.
2. Display the Service Mode screen.
(For details of how to display the Service Mode
screen, see the service manual.)
3. Touch "Finisher."
4. Touch "FS-FN adjustment."
5. Touch "Post Inserter Adjustment."
6. Touch "Upper Tray" on the screen and load
A4
in the upper tray.
7. Press the Start key.
8. Make sure that "Adj. Result" is "OK."
9. Touch "Lower Tray" on the screen and load
A4
in the lower tray.
10. Press the Start key.
11. Make sure that "Adj. Result" is "OK."
12. Keep touching "OK" until the service mode
screen is displayed.
13. Touch "Exit" on the Service Mode screen.
14. Turn OFF and ON the Main Power Switch.
Note:
When displayed the Service Mode screen, be sure
to turn off the main power after exiting the Service
Mode screen and wait for 10 seconds or more
before turning on.
15. Make sure that the following paper sizes are cor-
rectly detected.

Upper tray: A4
, A4
Lower tray: A3
, A4
<Inch area>
Upper tray: Letter
, Letter
Lower tray: Ledger
, Letter
, A4
, Letter
