Inspection and servicing

10.8.2 Changing the gas filter

▶ Shut down the heating system ( Chapter 8.1, page 32)
▶ Close the main gas shut-off valve or gas isolator and secure against
unintentional re-opening.
▶ Remove the front panel ( Chapter 10.1, page 32).
▶ Undo both screws [4] from filter cover [3] underneath the gas valve.
▶ Remove filter cassette [1] and insert a new one.
▶ Insert new gasket [2] at the filter cover and refit using both screws.

10.8.3 Removing the fan

▶ Shut down the heating system ( Chapter 8.1, page 32)
▶ Close the main gas shut-off valve or gas isolator and secure against
unintentional re-opening.
▶ Remove the front panel ( Chapter 10.1, page 32).
▶ Undo the electric plug-in connections at the fan.
▶ Pull out the burner ( Chapter 10.6.1, page 36).
▶ Remove the gas valve ( Chapter 10.8.1, page 39).
▶ Undo clips [3] at the ventilation air collector and pull off front
semi-shell [4] from its studs.

▶ Also remove impeller [2] and fan inlet [1] (at 320 kW: fan inlet [5]
with adaptor [6]) from the studs.

▶ Remove rear semi-shell [1].

▶ Remove mounting plate [1] from the fan.
▶ Undo both rear screws [3] (joint between carriage [2] and fan [5]
(do not remove).
▶ Support the fan and remove both front screws [4].
