5.3 Cleaning the exhaust filter

5.4 Spare parts and accessories

have acquired by reordering.

5.5 Before you send in the appliance
WARNING:
Danger of injury! Never use a defective appliance! Always switch off the
appliance and disconnect it from the mains before starting troubleshoot-
ing chapter 4.3, "Switching off".
Before contacting us or even returning the appliance to us, use the table to
check whether you can solve the problem yourself.

It is best to clean the exhaust filter each time you clean the filter inserts,
chapter 5.2, "Cleaning filter inserts".
However, clean the exhaust filter at least every 6 months.
1. Switch off the appliance, chapter 4.3, "Switching off".
2. Push down on the release catches for the exhaust filter cover (Fig. 13/
A) and flip the exhaust filter cover down.
3. Remove the exhaust filter from its console (Fig. 13/B).
4. Hold the filter holder together with the exhaust filter in a waste bin and
remove any larger build-up of dirt by hand.
5. Remove dust residue with a soft brush, e.g. the supplied furniture brush
(Fig. 14/A).

The exhaust filter cannot be washed.
6. If the exhaust filter is damaged, deformed or too heavily soiled, replace
it (ordering information chapter 5.4, "Spare parts and accessories").

7. Place the clean/new exhaust filter back in its console (Fig. 13/B).
8. First insert the exhaust filter cover at the bottom (Fig. 14/A) and then
pivot it into place at the top (Fig. 14/B).
