Chapter 1 Introducing the FMG
COLOR STATUS DESCRIPTION
Green On The FMG has a fiber connection.
Off The FMG doesn't have a fiber connection.
Green On The FMG has a successful 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet connection with a
device on the Local Area Network (LAN).
Blinking The FMG is sending or receiving data to/from the LAN at 10/100/1000 Mbps.
Off The FMG does not have an Ethernet connection with the LAN.
Green On The cable television service is available.
Off The cable television service is not available. Contact your service provider.
DESCRIPTION
Connect the coaxial cable to the CATV port for a cable television service.
Connect computers or other Ethernet devices to Ethernet ports for Internet access.
Connect the power cable and then can press the power button to start the device.
Gently push this in to disconnect the FMG from the fiber box.
