6. Remove the hose clams adjacent to the fuel pump
and pull the fuel hose down.
7. Remove the muffler and the exhaust pipe.
8. Remove the transmission belt from the belt
tensioner.
9. Remove the belt guide for the engine belt pulley.

10. Hold the belt pulley with a counterhold and remove
the Allen screw that holds the belt pulley and engine

together. See
11. Remove the belt pulley from the engine shaft. Use a
puller if it is necessary. See

12. Remove the 4 engine fixtures.
13. Lift the engine to remove it.
14. Install the engine in the opposite sequence.
Note: The belt pulley groove must align with the
output shaft key. Make sure that the 2 spacer pipes
