6. Remove the nut and lift off the hydrostatic
transmission fan.
7. Remove the rear belt from the impeller and the idler
pulley.
8. Remove the circlip and washer from the pivoting
rear axle and pull off the rear frame.
9. Remove the circlip and washer from the inner
groove on the pivoting rear axle (B).

10. Pull out the pivoting rear axle from the rear.
Note: Use a slide hammer or a puller if it is
necessary.
Note: Replace the dirt protection (A) if it is damaged.
20 - Repair instructions
A
9.1.6.2 To replace the bushings on the pivoting rear axle
CAUTION: When the pivoting rear axle is
removed, replace the bushings in the rear
frame.
1. Remove the bushings with a drift. See
tools on page 13
2. Attach the new bushings with a drift.Make sure that
the grooves in the bushings run horizontally.
3. Align the outer edges of the bushings with the outer
edge of the hole.
4. Lubricate the bushings with a lithium based grease.
9.1.6.3 To assemble the pivoting rear axle
1. Put the axle into the bushings.
Note: Make sure that the hole on the axle points
rearward.
2. Attach the washer and circlip on the pivoting rear
axle.
3. Attach the dirt protection with the thin lip back
approximately ⅔ into the axle.
4. Lubricate the axle on the two sides of the dirt
protection.
5. Move the rear frame forward and press it onto the
pivoting rear axle.
6. Attach the washer and circlip on the pivoting rear
axle.
7. Connect the hydraulic hoses below the product.
8. Attach the rear belt.
9. Attach the hydrostatic transmission fan.
