CTP2000-Series Components
The following connectors on the rear transition module are not used: PMC I/O 1,
PMC I/O 2, and COM3. Do not connect cables to these connectors.
The compact flash card is installed on the processor rear transition module. (See
Figure 29.)
To remove or install the flash card:
1. Power off the unit.
2. Remove the processor rear transition module by unscrewing the retaining
screws and pushing the extractors outward with the latching buttons depressed.
3. Remove the flash card–retaining screw and nut. You can then remove or install
the flash card in the flash socket
4. Reinstall the flash card–retaining screw and nut.
5. Reinstall the processor RTM into the chassis, and secure the retaining screws.

CTP2000-series models can be ordered with an optional PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC)
module (CTP-Fiber-PMC) that provides two fiber-optic or copper Gigabit Ethernet
network connections.
Copper and fiber 1000Base-X compliant Gigabit Ethernet SFPs are available for the
PMC module. Single-mode (LX) and multimode (SX) SFPs with fiber optics can be
used. The SFPs provide two fully independent Ethernet ports that are fully
compliant with IEEE 802.3x. SFPs are supported in CTPOS release 4.5R1 and
higher. The following SFPs are available:
