8.2 Basic functions
You can find the most important basic functions of the connectivity module in the "SIMOTICS
CONNECT" menu of the "SIDRIVE IQ Config" application.
An overview of all of the basic functions is shown in the following table:

Description
Helps you to visually identify the currently connected connectivity module. The connectivity module
LED flashes for five seconds.
The connectivity module restarts. The connectivity module is disconnected. Measurement data that
have not yet been transmitted to SIDRIVE IQ Fleet are lost. To avoid this data loss, run the "Start
SIDRIVE IQ Fleet synchronization" function before you restart the connectivity module.
Starts transmission of the measurement data from the memory of the connectivity module to SI‐
DRIVE IQ Fleet.
Starts the onboarding process for SIDRIVE IQ Fleet.
Deletes all onboarding information in the connectivity module. After offboarding, transmission of
measurement data to SIDRIVE IQ Fleet is no longer possible. To transfer data, start a new on‐
boarding process.
Offboarding is the precondition for a new onboarding process to SIDRIVE IQ Fleet.
Sets the battery status display to 100% after battery replacement.
