GETTING STARTED

Use only with the supplied power adapter and rechargeable battery.
CAUTION: Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect
type. Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions.
Rechargeable Batteries Must Be Recycled or Disposed of Properly.
Do not place the unit in direct sunlight or subject it to high temperatures.
Do not open or tamper with the handset or base (other than to change the
batt eries).

Installing your phone

Charge the battery
1. Remove a battery cover. Press
in on the notch and slide the
cover down.
2. Place the batteries in the
correct polarity.
3. Replace the battery cover and
slide it up into place.
4. Use the base AC adapter to connect the power jack on the base to a
standard AC power outlet. If you have two or more handsets, connect
each charger in the same way.
5. Place a handset in the base with the display facing forward.
For two or more handsets, place each handset in a charger.
Charge all handsets completely (about 15 hours) before using them.
Connect the telephone cord
Use the telephone cord to connect the jack on the base to a standard
telephone wall jack.
Installing a line filter or DSL filter
A telephone line filter or DSL filter prevents services that use the
phone line from causing interference on your phone. To get a line
filter, contact your service provider or look in an electronics store.
Plug the filter into the telephone wall jack and plug the base into the
filter. Make a test call to make sure the noise is gone.
