6.1 Motor power connection
Please note the current draw of the motor in your application!
Appropriately dimension the connecting cables in accordance with IEC 60204-1.
Star/delta circuit configuration
The star/delta circuit configuration is implemented using an external contactor circuit or as
permanent setting by means of jumpers in the terminal box. The jumpers are in the terminal
box.
The following motors can be connected in a delta circuit:
● 1PM6 forced ventilation
● 1PM4 oil cooling
Note
Water-cooled 1PM4 motors are only operated in the star circuit configuration. These
motors cannot be changed over to a delta circuit configuration.
