Additives must be mixed with the cooling water in appropriate quantities to protect against
corrosion and the growth of algae. The type and quantity of additive are defined by the
manufacturer's recommendations for the additives (refer to table) and the prevailing ambient
conditions.
If Tyfocor (Tyforop Chemie GmbH) or Antifrogen N (Clariant Produkte GmbH Deutschland) is
used, for example, 75% water and 25% anti-corrosion agent should be used.
