Handling

Remove the system from its shipping box carefully. If you use cutting tools, you could scratch the outer surface of
the linear slider or even damage cables.
The cover of the wooden transportation box is fastened to the box itself using wood screws. All screws are indi-
cated by black arrow labels as shown below.
Inside the transportation box, the linear axis is mounted onto at least two blank aluminum bars. The standard slider
mounting drill pattern is used to attach the slider to these bars. Each aluminum bar is firmly attached to the bottom
of the box to securely fasten the slider during transportation.
Detach all the aluminum bars together with the slider from the transportation box by removing the nuts underneath
the wooden box.

Now you can place the linear slider on a solid surface outside the box. The next steps will show you how to remove
all the aluminum bars.
Please handle the linear axis carefully and safely. Treat the wrapping foil with care while
opening it. Do not cause scratches or cut cables by using cutting tools to open the foil.
It is forbidden to use the connector box as lifting handle. Lifting the slider by the cable chain
or even by the cables can cause malfunctioning.
