GS350/GS300

For Argentina:
You must only use unleaded gasoline which does not contain metallic addi-
tives (Manganese-based, etc.).
Select unleaded gasoline with a Research Octane Number of 95 or higher
for optimum engine performance.
For details about gasoline, contact your Lexus dealer.
Except for Argentina:
You must only use unleaded gasoline.
Select premium unleaded gasoline with a Research Octane Number of 95
(octane rating 91) or higher for optimum engine performance.
If this premium type cannot be obtained, you may temporarily use unleaded
gasoline with a Research Octane Number as low as 91 (octane rating 87).
GS F

You must only use unleaded gasoline.
Select premium unleaded gasoline with a Research Octane Number of 98 or
higher for optimum engine performance.
If this premium type cannot be obtained, you may temporarily use unleaded
gasoline with a Research Octane Number as low as 91.
The use of such gasoline may cause the engine to knock or drastically reduce
output to protect itself while driving with a heavy load. To avoid this, refill the
tank with premium unleaded gasoline as soon as possible.
Use of ethanol blended gasoline in a gasoline engine

Except for Brazil and GS300 sold in Thailand

Lexus allows the use of ethanol blended gasoline where the ethanol content is up to 10%.
Make sure that the ethanol blended gasoline to be used has a Research Octane Number
that follows the above.
For GS300 sold in Thailand

Lexus allows the use of ethanol blended gasoline where the ethanol content is up to
20%. Make sure that the ethanol blended gasoline to be used has a Research Octane
Number that follows the above.
If your engine knocks

Consult your Lexus dealer.

You may occasionally notice light knocking for a short time while accelerating or driv-

ing uphill. This is normal and there is no need for concern.
