If concerns are around the water temperature
in the kitchen or laundry, recommend a two
zone plumbing option if possible.

Service. All printed copies are deemed uncontrolled.
Typically the hot water inlet
temperature to the tempering valve
must be 10°C higher than the required
outlet temperature.
Confirm if a recent large draw-off has
reduced the hot water supply
temperature. Advise the customer to
allow time for the heater to recover.
Clean or replace the filters.
Tempering valves are generally set to
deliver water at 48 – 50ºC. Depending
on the insulation and length of pipe
work, water temperature can be lower
due to heat loss.
Normal Operation
Replace the tempering valve
