Ethernet
To avoid Ethernet mismatch problems, the Secure Router 3120 and the
network device to which it is attached should both be configured identically
for speed and duplex mode. For example, if the Secure Router 3120 is
configured for auto-negotiation and the far end is configured manually, the
Secure Router 3120 detects the speed, but defaults to half-duplex mode. To
ensure correct operation, either manually configure each device for speed
and duplex settings, or configure both devices to auto-negotiate.

Changing Login Parameters

The System Administrator login consists of two components: the account
name and the password. The initial login name is always admin, but you can
change this to suit the needs of your facility after logging in for the first time.
The default administrative password, setup, should be changed as soon as
possible to ensure only authorized access to the Secure Router 3120.
For more information about command usage, see the Command Reference
Guide. This guide is available on the Nortel Secure Router CD-ROM that
ships with each product as well as on the Nortel website: www.nortel.com.
