Configuring the Printer Interface (X4)

With BT220-1:

The BT220-1 in this case automatically changes the interface parameters.
After the printing process the parameters necessary for communication with
the PS 5000 (19200 bits/s; 8 data bits; even parity; 1 stop-bit) are set again.
Communication with a peripheral unit is only possible when

the connection cable is correctly wired (inc. any necessary Handshake
leads),

the interface parameter settings of both units are identical.
In the following description we assume that the BT220 is in the message dis-
play mode (see chapter 5.1, page 5-2).
