If there is a duplicate Node address, meaning that 2 or more nodes have the same Node address, the
GKP green Run button will flash and the GKP screen backlight will flash off / on, on the modules that
have the duplicate addresses.
If there is a duplicate IP address, meaning that 2 or more modules have the same IP address, the GKP
(Graphical Key pad) Ethernet icon
module which has the duplicate IP address. Also, the GKP backlight will flash off /on.
This modules IP address will be re assigned a temporary address, as its IP address is being used in a
different module. If you go to the menu Parameters / Base Comm / Ethernet State, the Ethernet State
will indicate Duplicate Address.
Once the configuration is installed with the correct IP address, power may have to be cycled on the
modules, to resolve the conflict of the IP addresses.
If there is an active Ethernet connection the Ethernet icon
and the IP address of the module will on the bottom row of the GKP.
