Updating the Drive Firmware using a SD card

Preparing the SD Card.
Copy the AC30 LINKnet firmware to an SD card, make sure the name on the file is named:
'firmware.30x' for a AC30V and the file name for a AC30P/D is 'firmware.30p'
Beware:
The existing Codesys configuration in the drive will be lost when updating the drive to the
LINKnet firmware.
Perform the upgrade:
Caution: DO NOT REMOVE THE POWER FROM THE DRIVE DURING THE
FIRMWARE UPDATE
These steps may vary depending on the preset version of firmware in the drive.
1. Apply power to the drive.
2. Remove the GKP (Graphical Key Pad) from the drive.
3. Insert the SD card in the drives SD slot. The SD slot is located just below the status LED on
the right-hand side of the drive.
4. Replace the GKP.
5. Press the top left soft key on the GKP until
menu just above this soft key.
6. Press this top left soft key. The View Level menu will appear. Select Engineer.Press the
gray OK key.
7. The Language menu will appear. Select the desired language.
8. The Update Firmware menu should appear.
9. Change the value from False to True and press the grey OK key.
10. The GKP should display Firmware Update in Progress.
11. When the firmware has been updated, the top line of the GKP will display AC30 Link and
an IP address of 192.168.1.xxx will be shown on the bottom line. Verify that the top line
states AC30Link.
12. Remove the GKP and remove the SD card. Replace the GKP.
