the date and time). If these parameters are correct, to exit the
programming procedure press any key that is not lit (except "s-
tart"), or wait 30 seconds without touching any key ("timeout"
time).
Based on personal needs, you can choose to load one, two
or three scheduled heating or filtering cycles.
For the heating/filtering cycles to be activated, the system
must be in "active" status ("start" key LED on), and the timer
must be in "On" condition (1) (see chapter on setting general
system parameters).
Cycle activation takes place either when the control panel
on the electronic box has been activated, or when the pneu-
matic push buttons have been enabled.
I
OZONATOR (OPTIONAL)
On request, an ozone generator can be provided which is to
installed on the spa-pak, parallel to the pipes that from the filter
i
return to the spa (see
The addition of an ozone generator aids in oxidizing the
organic substances that get in the water, and therefore reduces
the need for chemical products for water treatment.
The ozonator works automatically. When the filtering pump is
running, the ozonator comes on for 20 minutes, shuts off for 10
minutes, comes back on for 20 minutes, and so on. These in-
terruptions in operation prevent an excessive build-up of ozone
in closed environment.
The ozonator is however shut off when there are users in the
tub. When a hydromassage pump or the blower are switched on,
this is a clear signal that there are people in the tub. Therefore,
the ozonator is shut off and it stays off for 15 minutes after the
hydromassage pumps and/or blower are shut off.
With intense use of the spa, therefore, the ozonator will be
switched off for long periods.
I
ACTIVATION OF HYDROMASSAGE PUMPS
Activation of the hydromassage pumps takes place only via the
pneumatic push buttons installed near the spa. However this
operation can be performed via the control panel installed on the
electronic box of the spa-pak. This makes it possible to check
operation of the system directly from the spa-pak and to manage
the functions even when the pneumatic buttons are disabled or
have not even been installed.
Activation takes place by modifying the software parameters
which can be selected using the "set" key (there are no spe-
cific keys on the display), with the system in "active" status ("s-
tart" key on).
Press and hold the "set" key (9), and the display will show
the message "P1.0" (which stands for hydromassage pump 1).
The keys "+" and "-" will light up, and they can be used to set
the status "P1.1".
4).
Again press the "set" key to memorize this new status and go
on to the next one, i.e. "P2.0" (hydromassage pump 2), which can
be modified to "P2.1".
Press "set" again and also this new value will be memorized,
and you will move on to the third parameter, i.e. "BL.0" (blow-
er), which can also be changed to "BL.1".
If you press "set" again you will exit the programme. The de-
vices where the status has been changed from 0 to 1 will start
working, provided the following conditions exist:
- the system must be in the "active" condition, i.e. with the "start"
key (3) on and also the "hand" key (2) lit (pneumatic push but-
tons disabled).
- if pneumatic buttons are active ("hand" key off) it is not possible
to start the pumps and/or blower from the control panel (nothing
happens when "set" is pressed).
- if the pumps and/or blower have been started with the procedure
described above and the pneumatic buttons are activated (by
pressing and holding the "hand" key for about 3 seconds), the
devices in operation will shut down and will not restart automati-
cally when the control panel is reactivated.
NOTES:
- if parameter P4=0 (see chapter on general system settings), the
devices that were turned on using the procedure described above
remain on continuously until the system is shut off using the "start"
key(3), or with the main switch. If P4 is other than 0, operation
of the pumps and/or blower becomes cyclical, or limited over time,
based on the values set in P4 and P5 (see next chapter on the spe-
cial automatic cycle of the hydromassage and/or blower).
- when the system is shut off (with the "start" key (3), via the
main switch or due to a power outage), the aforementioned pro-
gramming is cancelled. Therefore, at the next start-up, the hydro-
massage pumps and the blower will remain off.
- when the hydromassage pumps and/or the blower are switched
on, the ozonator (if present) is switched off, and remains off for
15 minutes after the last shutdown (see chapter on ozonator).
- vice versa, when the hydromassage pumps and/or the blow-
er are turned on, if the filtering pump is off it is automatically
started and kept running for 15 minutes after the last shutdown
(see chapter on water filtering).
If the pumps or blower are on, it means there are people in the
tub, and therefore the water needs to be filtered to keep it clean.
I

ACTIVATION OF BLOWER (air compressor)

The blower function is included standard on some models and it
is optional on others. If the system is equipped with a blower, it
is normally activated by means of a specific pneumatic push but-
ton that is installed near the spa, the same as the hydromassage.
The blower can also be activated by means of the control
panel of the electronic box, using the same procedure and
