When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed
WARNING: THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED
This product is fitted with a rewirable 13 amp plug, complying to BS 1363. The fuse should be rated
at 13 amps and be ASTA approved to BS 1362. however, if the plug is unsuitable, it should be
dismantled and removed from the power cord and an appropriate plug fitted as detailed below:
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
The wires of the mains leads are coloured in accordance with the following code:
GREEN/YELLOW - EARTH
The wire coloured GREEN & YELLOW must be connected to the terminal in your plug marked E or
by the EARTH SYMBOL
The wire coloured BLUE is the NEUTRAL and must be connected to the terminal in your plug
marked N or coloured BLACK.
The wire coloured BROWN is the LIVE and must be connected to the terminal in your plug marked L
or coloured RED.
If any other plug is used a 13 amp fuse must be fitted either in the plug or adaptor or at the distributor
board.
