PASO 39:
Instale el conjunto del pedal del cambio y fíjelo con un
perno hexagonal, 5 x 20 mm (1).
PAR DE APRIETE: 12 N.m (1,2 kg.m)
PASO 40:
Instale el conjunto del pedal de apoyo/soporte lateral en
la parte inferior del motor por el costado izquierdo y
fíjelo por medio de cuatro pernos de brida, 8 x 20 mm
(1) y apriételos de acuerdo al par especificado.
PAR DE APRIETE: 27 N.m (2,7 kg.m)
PASO 41:
Instale las gomas en ambos los pedales de apoyo y
fíjelas con las dos placas de fijación, dos bujes, 6 x 5
mm, y dos pernos hexagonales, 6 x 12 mm (1).
PASO 42:
Quite la tapa lateral izquierda de acuerdo con los
siguientes procedimientos:
1. Insira la llave de encendido en el orificio de la tapa
lateral izquierda (1) y gírela 90° en sentido horario.
2. Tire con cuidado de la parte inferior de la tapa lateral
izquierda (2) hasta que los pasadores especiales (3) se
queden libres de las gomas del chasis (5).
3. Tire cuidadosamente del extremo trasero hasta que la
goma de la tapa lateral izquierda (4) se quede libre de
la lengüeta del chasis (5).
4. Verifique si las gomas y los pasadores especiales
están completamente libres del chasis y, enseguida,
quite la tapa lateral izquierda.

STEP 39:
Install the gearshift pedal assembly and attach it with the
5 x 20 mm hex. bolt (1). Tighten the bolt to the specified
torque.
TORQUE: 12 N.m (1.2 kgf.m, 9 lbf.ft)
STEP 40:
Install the footpeg/side stand assembly in the engine
bottom edge from the left side. Attach the assembly with
four 8 x 20 mm flange bolts (1) and tighten them to the
specified torque.
TORQUE: 27 N.m (2.7 kgf.m, 20 lbf.ft)
STEP 41:
Install the rubber pads in both footpegs and attach them
with the two mounting plates, two 6 x 5 mm bushings and
two 6 x 12 mm hex. bolts (1).
STEP 42:
Remove the left side cover following the procedures below:
1. Insert the ignition key into the left side cover hole (1) and
turn it 90° clockwise.
2. Pull the lower edge (2) of the left side cover carefully to
free the bosses (3) from the frame.
3. Pull the rear edge of the left side cover carefully to free
the left side cover grommet (4) from the frame hook (5).
4. Check if the grommets and bosses are completely free
from the frame and then remove the left side cover.
