Debido al peso de la motocicleta, este servicio de
montaje debe ser efectuado como mínimo por dos
mecánicos, hasta que la motocicleta sea tirada del
embalaje y tenga instalada su rueda delantera.
Instale las arandelas planas, 14 mm (1), a los soportes
superiores de fijación del amortiguador.
Instale los vástagos inferiores (2) de los amortiguadores
traseros a los suportes inferiores del chasis.
Levante el chasis e instale los vástagos superiores (3) de
los amortiguadores traseros a los suportes superiores del
chasis.
Sujete los extremos inferiores y superiores de los
amortiguadores traseros utilizando las arandelas, 10,3
mm, y las tuercas ciegas, 10 mm. Apriete parcialmente
las tuercas ciegas.
Apriete las tuercas ciegas de fijación de los
amortiguadores traseros al par especificado.
PAR DE APRIETE:
Tuerca de fijación superior: 35 N.m (3,5 kg.m)
Tuerca de fijación inferior: 35 N.m (3,5 kg.m)

Tenga cuidado para no dañar las tapas laterales ni la
coleta durante la instalación de los amortiguadores
traseros.
Ubicación de las arandelas de fijación:
(1) SUPERIOR
1 – Arandela plana, 14 mm
2 – Arandela, 10,3 mm
3 – Tuerca ciega, 10 mm
(2) INFERIOR
PASO 6:
Quite la motocicleta de la base del embalaje y apóyela en
su soporte central. Coloque un calzo (1) por debajo del
motor.

Tenga cuidado al manipular la motocicleta pues ella
permanecerá inestable hasta que la rueda delantera
sea instalada.

This operation must be carried out by two or more
people due to motorcycle weight and its unstable
condition before the front wheel is installed.
Install the 14 mm plain washers (1) in the shock absorber
upper holders. Install the damper lower rods (2) in the
frame lower holders.
Raise the frame and install the damper upper rods (3) in the
frame upper holders.
Attach lower and upper ends of rear shock absorbers with
the 10,3 mm washers and 10 mm cap nuts. Slightly tighten
the cap nuts.
Tighten the rear shock absorber cap nuts to the specified

torque.

TORQUE:
Upper mounting cap nut: 35 N.m (3.5 kgf.m, 25 lbf.ft)
Lower mounting cap nut: 35 N.m (3.5 kgf.m, 25 lbf.ft)

Take care not to damage the side covers and the
rear cowl when installing the rear shock absorber.

Mounting washer location:

(1) UPPER

1. Plain washer, 14 mm
2. Washer, 10,3 mm
3. Cap nut, 10 mm

(2) LOWER

STEP 6:
Remove the motorcycle from the crate base and support it
on its center stand.
Place a proper support (1) under the engine.

Be careful when handling the motorcycle as it will
be unstable until the front wheel is installed.
