The LCD is used to display the menus and other data. The arrows and the text on the
bottom line of the LCD prompt the use of the keys within the menus.
The keypad is used to navigate through the menus and start/stop treatment. The
functions of the keys and quick key combinations are listed in Table 1.
Both the LCD and keypad are backlit with power-up of the device. When you are
navigating through the menus, the LCD backlight times out two minutes after your last
menu choice. Once the Start/Stop key has been pressed to initiate treatment, the
LCD backlight stays on for two minutes. The keypad remains illuminated to indicate
that the device is on.
