Closing the fuel tank cap

When the fuel filler door cannot be opened by pressing the inside switch
STEP 1
Open the back door and lift the deck board up. (P. 488)
STEP 2
With a compact spare tire only:
Remove the spare tire cover. (P. 488)
STEP 3
Remove the 12-volt battery cover. (P. 488)
STEP 4
STEP 5
Install the 12-volt battery cover using the clips. (P. 491)

Fuel types
Unleaded gasoline (Research Octane Number 95 or higher)

Use of ethanol blended gasoline in a gasoline engine
Lexus allows the use of ethanol blended gasoline where the ethanol content
is up to 10%. Make sure that the ethanol blended gasoline to be used has a
Research Octane Number that follows the above.

After refueling, turn the fuel
tank cap until you hear a click.
Once the cap is released, it will
turn slightly in the opposite
direction.
Pull the lever.
