Step 2
1. Be sure that all programs or operating systems are stopped (get help if
needed).
2. Set the power switch on the system unit to Off.
3. If present, remove the write-protect tab from the diagnostic diskettes.
4. Insert the Diagnostics 1 (DIAG-l) diskette in the diskette drive and
close the drive.
5. Set the keylock to Unlock.
6. Set the power switch on the system unit and display to On.
7. Wait four minutes, then answer the following question.

IS THE TWO-DIGIT DISPLAY BLANK?
NO Go to "Step 10" on page 3-31.
YES Continue on the next page.
