General Information

1.1 UNPACKING

• Remove all packaging material.
• Remove separate accessory box.
• Remove the generator from carton.

1.1.1 ACCESSORIES INCLUDED

• 1-Owner's manual
• 1-Bottle of Oil SAE 30
• 3-Product Registration Cards (English, Spanish, French)
• 1-Battery Charger (electric start only)
• 1-Handle Assembly (attached to bottom of frame)
• 1- Hex head bolt (A) (attached to frame at handle assembly)
• 1-Acorn Nut (B) (attached to frame at handle assembly)
• 1-Foot Assembly (E) [includes 4-Flanged Nuts (C), 2-Rubber
Feet (D), 2-Short Bolts (F)]
• 2-Axle Pins (G)
• 2-Never-Flat Wheels (H)
• 2-Washers (I)
• 2-Cotter Pins (J)

1.2 ASSEMBLY

The generator requires some assembly prior to using it. If
problems arise when assembling the generator, please call the
Generator Helpline at 1-888-436-3722.

1.2.1 ASSEMBLING THE ACCESSORY KIT

Refer to the instructions below and Figures 1, 2, and 3 to install the
handle, foot, and wheels. Note: The handle and foot components
are already pre-assembled from the factory. The wheels are
designed to greatly improve the portability of the generator. You
will need the following tools to properly install the accessory kit:
• Socket wrench
• Foot: 10mm socket, 13mm wrench or socket
• Handle: 13mm and 14mm sockets or wrenches
• Wheels: Pliers
Handle
1. Install the handle assembly to the frame by using bolts (A) and
nuts (B).
Foot
2. Mount the foot assembly (E) to the frame with two bolts (F)
and nuts (C).
Wheels
3. Slide axle pin (G) through wheel (H), washer (I), and through
the bracket on the frame.
4. Secure axle pin (G) to the frame with the cotter pin (J).

5. Use a pliers and bend one tab of cotter pin (J) outward to lock
into place.
6. Repeat steps 4, 5, & 6 for other wheel.
