The Tepan plate is fitted with a cooling fan. If a drawer is fitted dir-
ectly underneath the appliance, ensure that there is sufficient space
between the drawer and its contents and the underside of the appli-
ance in order to ensure sufficient ventilation of the Tepan plate. Do
not store pointed or small items or paper in the drawer. They could
get in through the ventilation slots or be sucked into the casing by
the fan and damage the fan or impair cooling.
The appliance becomes very hot. Do not use plastic utensils. Even
heat-resistant plastic utensils are unsuitable.
