This Tepan Yaki is not intended for outdoor use. This Tepan Yaki is intended for domestic use only to cook food and keep it warm.
- Page 7 Warning and Safety instructions Safety with children Children under 8 years of age must be kept away from the Tepan Yaki unless they are constantly supervised. Children aged 8 and older may only use the Tepan Yaki without supervision if they have been shown how to use it in a safe manner.
- Page 8 Unauthorised installation, maintenance and repairs can cause considerable danger for the user. Installation, maintenance and repairs must only be carried out by your Miele dealer. Damage to the Tepan Yaki can compromise your safety. Check it for visible signs of damage. Do not use a damaged Tepan Yaki.
- Page 9 Miele authorised service technician. Otherwise the warranty is invalidated. Miele can only guarantee the safety of the appliance when genuine original Miele replacement parts are used. Faulty components must only be replaced by Miele spare parts.

There is a danger of burning until the residual heat indicators go out. Due to the high temperatures radiated, objects left near the Tepan Yaki when it is switched on could start to burn.

How it works The cooking surface of the Tepan Yaki is heated by induction. An induction coil is located under the cooking surface. When the Tepan Yaki is switched on, this coil creates a magnetic field which impacts directly on the cooking surface and heats it up. -
