Attaching the outer rails
8. Loosely attach the four rail brackets (front,
rear, right, and left) at the center of the 3U
space of the rack for installing the unit with
eight screws and four plate nuts (small).
9. As shown in the fi gure, adjust each front side
position of the outer rails on both sides (left
and right) so that the distance from the sur-
face of the rack to the tip of the rail becomes
within the range of 40 to 45 millimeters.
10. Fully tighten the eight screws fi xing the four
rail brackets.
