Configuring

You can configure the AQ 4xI HART analog output module
● in TIA Portal as of V15.1 (HSP0283), otherwise as of TIA Portal V16
● With STEP 7 V5.6 + SP4 or higher (HSP0263)
● Using GSD/GSDML
The GSD files for the ET 200SP Distributed I/O System can be downloaded from the Internet:

Configuration options
The following configurations are possible:
● Without value status and without HART variables ("AQ 4xI HART")
● Without value status, with HART variables ("AQ 4xI HART, 4 variables")
● With value status, without HART variables ("AQ 4xI HART, QI")
● With value status, with HART variables ("AQ 4xI HART, 4 variables, QI")
With GSD/GSDML configuration, you must select one of the possible configurations directly.
With STEP 7 configuration (TIA Portal or HW Config), the configuration occurs indirectly via the
parameters.
Restrictions
● Value status is not available for a PROFIBUS DP station.
● Downstream of a Standard IM (V1.1), the module can be operated only in the "Without value
status and without HART variables" configuration.
● TIA Portal:
– The module behind a standard IM (V1.1) is not available.
– TIA Portal as of V15.1
– TIA Portal as of V15.1
– The module cannot be used behind fail-safe controllers.

The module can be centrally configured on the following CPU:
- CPU 1510SP-1 (as of V2.1)
- CPU 1512SP-1 PN (as of V2.1)
The module can be configured as an open controller.
