5. To prioritize an application or game, select the name in the drop-down list, then click and drag
the icon next to the name to the High Priority list.
6. If the application name isn't listed, select Add a New Application... at the bottom of the drop-
down menu, and add the name.
Tip---- - If you want to add a new application or game, you need to know its port and protocol
information (see the application or game's documentation for help).
7. Click Settings. The Settings screen opens.
8. Set the maximum Downstream Bandwidth. If you set the bandwidth lower than the actual
bandwidth of your router, performance may be limited.
9. Turn on WMM Support to help manage traffic priority with devices that support WMM.
Tip---- - WMM (Wi-Fi MultiMedia) Support is a wireless feature based on the IEEE 802.11e
standard. WMM improves quality for audio, video, and voice applications by prioritizing
wireless traffic. This feature requires that the wireless client devices in your network also
support WMM.
10. Turn off No Acknowledgement to have the router resend data if an error occurs.
11. Click Ok.
