To record using the Group
Function
Press MD GROUP on the remote repeatedly
until "GROUP ON" appears after step 2. Press
GROUP SKIP on the remote repeatedly until
"New Group" or the desired group appears after
step 5.
Recording on an MD

You can record just the portions you like from a
disc, tape, tuner or other connected component.

Load a recordable MD.

Press FUNCTION repeatedly to select
the desired source to record.
• DVD: To record from this system's DVD
player.
• TAPE: To record from this system's tape
deck.
• TUNER: To record from this system's
tuner.
• TV: To record from the connected TV.
• VIDEO (SAT): To record from the
connected optional component.

Press REC MODE on the MD deck
repeatedly to select the recording
mode.
Select the desired recording time.

Standard no indication (stereo)
Double LP2 (LP2 stereo)
Quadruple LP4 (LP4 stereo)
Double MONO (monaural)
(change the stereo
signal to monaural)

Press REC/REC IT on the MD deck.
The MD deck stands by for recording.

Press MD N, then start playing the
desired source to record.

Press x.
